The THUNDER OVER MICHIGAN™ Air Show at Willow Run Airport is hosted by the museum as one of the premier annual aviation events. Visitors will also have the chance to buy tickets for a ride on the B-17, B-25, or C-47 aircrafts amongst others.
Lower Huron Metropark
The Lower Huron Metropark offers easy access from I-94 and I-275, occupying more than 1,200 acres of mature woodlands for appreciation of the natural beauty. It also runs the scenic Huron River and grassy meadows can be found as well. Some of the activities that you can do include canoeing along the river, shoreline fishing, inline skating or running on the hike-bike trail, or simply just admire the geese and swans floating on the water. Feel free to drift along with the lazy river or just coast down the water slide at the Turtle Cove Family Aquatic Center in the summer. The park also features volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts, along with scenic picnic areas which are perfect for visitors of all ages.
DeBuck's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch
DeBuck's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch is a family farm owned by two generations of the DeBucks. The farm has been offering the best entertainment in the fall since 2009, featuring 20 acres of pumpkins, 15 acres of corn maze, and many more. You can pick your own pumpkins right from the 20 acres pumpkin patch, ranging from white, black, blue, orange, and green pumpkins that come in various shapes and sizes. There are tiny ones, tall ones, fat ones, and big ones for you to choose from. There are also round, smooth, beautiful, and gnarly pumpkins with warts that seem to be staring at you as if they have faces.
