Rust Park

E.  Sumner and Mary Rust gave the City of Grand Blanc a deed on December 15, 1939, for the land that is currently referred to as Rust Park and is situated near the end of Rust Park Drive. The site was to be utilized as a city park and be designated as Rust Park in honor of their nephew, Lieutenant William H. Rust, who passed away in the World War in France. Rust Park has facilities for everyone, including a pavilion with picnic tables, electricity, grills, permanent restrooms, a gated play structure, basketball and tennis courts, and a baseball diamond. Thread Creek streams through the park, which is surrounded by walking trails.

Groveland Oaks County Park

Located in northern Oakland County on Stewart Lake, just 1.5 miles east of "exit 101" of I-75.
